Matt, depending on what you're trying to do, you might be able to do it in SQL Server Management Studio. For example, for an Import or Export Data task, you go through the screens to prepare the task, then tell it to save as an SSIS script. I agree, though, the old DTS Script world was a lot easier to manage than SSIS is.
